Ruby red with beautiful intensity. Aromas of green pepper and blackcurrant with a hint of dark chocolate. Elegant and supple wine with lovely, concentrated flavors. The tannins are well-integrated and pleasant.
Enjoy with grilled poultry or poultry in sauce, red meat with Mediterranean vegetables, or a roasted leg of lamb.
Serve between 15° and 16°C.
Ready to drink as soon as they are bottled, "Vins de France" are not made to be kept for years.
Some of the grapes undergo carbonic maceration, while some of the grapes are vinified traditionally in vats.
“Vins de France” can be produced throughout the whole of France using grapes harvested exclusively within its borders. This quite new appellation (2009) allows for a greater liberty in winemaking compared to the appellation system. It is a great opportunity for our winemaker to express his skills with a wine with a steady style and unique personality.
